The Kozloduy International Decommissioning Support Fund (KIDSF), administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), was established in 2001 for the support of the decommissioning of Units 1-4 of the Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant. One of the purposes of this Fund is to finance or co-finance preparation and implementation of selected projects that aim the necessary restructuring, upgrading and modernisation in various Bulgarian industry sectors consequential to final shutdown of Units 1-4 of the Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant.

Pravetsgas 1 AD intends to use a grant from the Kozloduy International Decommissioning Support Fund for the implementation of main gas pipeline to village Razliv and the development of the gas distribution system within Razliv. The total budget for the project is €427,000.

This General Procurement Notice is an update to the General Procurement Notice published on 19 May 2009 and draws attention to the following remaining procurement activities on the Project financed with resources of KIDSF:

- Selection of Contractor for the construction of approximately 9450 m gas distribution pipeline

Tendering for the above contract is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2010.

Tendering for contracts to be financed from grants of the KIDSF will be in line with the EBRD Procurement Policies and Rules and will be open to firms from eligible countries as of 1 July 2010: EU member states, Switzerland and the EBRD countries of operation.
