II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s):

Delivery of lime to treatment plants for flue gas. The lime shall be used at Hafslund Varmes incineration plants in Oslo, Sarpsborg and Fredrikstad.

Different types of lime are currently used at the plants and contracts can therefore be signed with two suppliers.

The procurement will be carried out via a negotiated procedure, which is a two stage procedure with a prequalification phase and an award phase.

Prequalification phase: Suppliers send in a request for participation in the competition. The suppliers that fulfil the qualification requirements will be sent the tender documents and will be invited to give a tender.

Award phase: Suppliers that have submitted a tender and that fulfil the requirements in the tender documents will be invited to negotiations.
