    II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s):

    The contract is a non exclusive framework agreement with Economic Operator(s) to provide well site geological services to support Chevron Romania Exploration and Production SRL. and affiliated companies, including but not limited to Chevron Bulgaria Exploration and Production EOOD (hereinafter referred to as "Company") for land based exploration and production activities in Europe.

    Company's preferred outcome would be to award framework agreement(s) to economic operator(s) capable of delivering the required services.

    Call-offs against the Framework Agreement will be issued to the Economic Operator(s) offering the most economically advantageous offer.

    Only when the terms laid down in the framework agreement are not complete enough for a particular call-off, will company hold a mini competition with all the providers awarded a framework agreement and capable of meeting the particular need against the terms and conditions of the framework agreement.

    II.2) Quantity or scope of the contract
    II.2.1) Total quantity or scope:

    —Company intends to assess the shale gas potential of their license portfolio. Initial exploration and appraisal activities.

    Are expected to commence in the 4Q of 2012 and last several years. A full well site geological service is required.

    For exploration wells.

    —Company prefers a single economic operator to cover the full range of services but may consider issuing separate specialized services to different.

    Economic Operators.

    —Services shall include, but not be limited to.

    Wellsite Geologists (in Field) as:

    — Point of contact between the rig and the Company’s operations geologist in Aberdeen (UK) providing regular operational and geological.

    Updates;

    — Data Management –Prepare (where relevant) and send daily reporting files– including Daily Geological Reports, Daily Drillling.

    Report, Mudlogging, LWD data, wireline data, Composite-Lith logs, pore pressure prediction;

    — Supervise and QC all third party subsurface providers (Mud loggers, biostratigraphers, LWD, Wireline VSP and Pore Pressure Engineers) at the well site,

    — Evaluate drilled cuttings for Lithology and shows,

    — Monitor and evaluate drill gas and chromatograph data,

    — In conjunction/consultation with the Aberdeen (UK), Romania and Bulgarian Shale Gas Project Team assist in making core point and casing point decisions,

    — In conjunction/consultation with the Aberdeen (UK), Romania and Bulgarian Shale Gas Project Team assist in all geological operational decisions with respect to wireline LWD and mudlogging,

    — Working with Company coring Subject Matter Expert, help to direct and assist safe core handling and recovery – marking up core barrels and describing core chips,

    — Ensure all geological samples leaving the well site are correctly addressed and documented.

    With appropriate manifest / transmittals;

    — Compare drilled lithology with the geologic plan,

    — Prepare & certify geologic documentation during drilling operations and geologic activities,

    — Other Services which can be reasonably inferred from the above description of services,

    — Office compilation of FWR and composite logs,

    — The Services are to be performed on the drilling locations within the Romania and Bulgarian Licenses.

    And it would be preferable to have at least 2 Contractor personnel (one per rotation) which must be fluent in spoken and written Romanian and/or Bulgarian and English language skills;

    — Services shall be performed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and 365 days per annum on rotational basis,

    — The duration of the rotation is 2 calendar weeks (14 calendar days).
