The Institute for Transuranium Elements plans the purchase of an αβγ transfer and transport system for waste and radioactive materials.

The system is intended to ensure an efficient continuous radiation protection during the transfer of radioactive samples and waste within ITU premises and the KIT Campus Nord limited area. For this reason the equipment shall comply with all requirements ruling the activities within ITU and the KIT area.

The system should comply with all the technical and environmental certification ruling the activities in nuclear environments.

The purchase shall cover the delivery and installation of the complete equipment, including training.

Tenders may be submitted by groupings of economic operators. Groupings shall designate a prime contractor who will be responsible for receiving and making payments to the members of the grouping, for management, coordination and safety.
