The global objective of this Call for Proposals is to contribute to a balanced regional development of Croatian Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).

The specific objectives of this Call for Proposals are:

1. to broaden the scope of regional support structures for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) through enhancing sustainable models of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and citizen participation in local decision-making processes;
2. to encourage local communities to develop sustainable participatory democracy mechanisms and integrated bottom-up approaches in responding to local challenges;
3. to promote the sense of involvement and community ownership by increasing citizens' and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs)' participation within communities.

Types of action which may be financed under this call:

1. Capacity building actions;
2. Awareness raising actions for active citizenship development.

The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:

• 0,60 Million EUR (Orientation of the budget)
