Call for proposals – Actions 2012 ‘Intelligent Energy — Europe’ Programme CIP-IEE-2012 Closed!

Objectives

Through the present call for proposals launched by the Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation (EACI), the European Union will fund projects that will contribute to secure, sustainable and competitively priced energy for Europe, by providing for action:

  • to foster energy efficiency and the rational use of energy resources
  • to promote new and renewable energy sources and to support energy diversification
  • to promote energy efficiency and the use of new and renewable energy sources in transport

  • SAVE — Industrial excellence in energy
  • SAVE – Consumer behaviour
  • SAVE – Energy services

ALTENER: New and renewable energy resources

  • ALTENER — Electricity from renewable energy sources (RES-e)
  • ALTENER — Bioenergy

STEER: Energy in transport

  • STEER — Energy-efficient transport
  • STEER — Clean and energy-efficient vehicles

Integrated Initiatives

  • Energy-efficient Public Spending Initiative
  • Local Energy Leadership
  • Mobilising Local Energy Investments
  • Energy efficiency and renewable energy in buildings
  • Build Up Skills, the Sustainable Building Workforce Initiative - Training and Qualification in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy. Closing dates for submission to the Build Up Skills Initiative are: 9 February 2012 for Pillar I and 30 April 2013 for Pillar II

European community funding

The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:

  • 67,00 Million EUR (Orientation of the budget)
