Call for proposals - Grants to political parties at European level IX-2011/01 Closed!

Objectives

Article 191 of the Treaty establishing the European Community says that the political parties at European level are an important factor for integration within the Union.  Regulation (EC) Noº 2004/2003 lays down the regulations governing political parties at European level and the rules regarding their funding. The Regulation provides, in particular, for an annual grant from the European Parliament, in the form of an operating subsidy to political parties that apply and which satisfy the conditions laid down in the Regulation.

Actions

The eligible period for cofinancing of operating expenditure of political parties at European level in 2011 runs from 1 January 2011 until 31 December 2011.

European community funding

The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:

  • 17,40 Million EUR (Orientation of the budget)
