Call for proposals - EACEA 18/09 -Support for television broadcasting of European audiovisual works AUDIOVISUAL SECTOR Closed!

Objectives

This notice of call for proposals is based on Decision No 1718/2006/EC of the European Parliament and Council of 15 November 2006 concerning the implementation of a program to support the European audiovisual sector (MEDIA 2007). One goal of this program is to promote transnational broadcasting of European audiovisual works produced by independent production companies, by encouraging cooperation between broadcasters on one hand, and producers and distributors on the other hand.

Actions

The audiovisual work submitted must be an independent European television production (drama, animation or creative documentary) involving at least three broadcasters from several Member States of the European Union and countries participating in the MEDIA 2007.

The maximum duration of projects is 30 or 42 (in case series and animation projects) months.

European community funding

The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:

  • 10,40 Million EUR (Global Budget)
