Objectives

Notice is given by the Comission of the launch of the third call for proposals under the work programme for 2009 of the Information and Communication Technologies Policy Support Programme (ICT PSP) as part of the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (2007 to 2013). The ICT PSP aims to stimulate innovation and competitiveness and accelerate the development of a sustainable, competitive, innovative and inclusive information society. It supports activities to accelerate innovation and implementation of ICT based services and systems through the wider uptake and best use of ICT and the exploitation of digital content by citizens, governments and businesses.

  • Theme 1:  ICT for Health, ageing and inclusion.
  • Theme 2:  Digital Libraries.
  • Theme 3:  ICT for government and governance.
  • Theme 4:  ICT for energy efficiency and environment.
  • Theme 5:  Multilingual Web.
  • Theme 6:  Public Sector Information.
  • Theme 7:  Internet Evolution and Security (incl. RFID).
  • Theme 8:  Open innovation, user experience and living labs.

European community funding

The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:

  • 99,50 Million EUR (Annual budget for 2009)
