This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this project which was published in 'Procurement Opportunities' on the EBRD website: 28/02/2011.

The Municipality of Bodrum / BOSKI hereinafter referred to as the Purchaser, intends using part of the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of PROCUREMENT OF GOODS FOR THE WATER NETWORK REHABILITATION TRANCHE 1.

The Purchaser now invites sealed tenders from suppliers for the following contract[s] to be funded from part of the proceeds of the loan:

• 1,320 m DN400 Ductile Iron pipes and short lengths of DI pipes DN100 to DN300 inclusive DI fittings such as tapers, T-Pieces, bends, and end caps.

• 4,550 m HDPE pipes PN10, ISO25, ISO32 and ISO63 inclusive push-on fittings

• 6,628 m HDPE pipes PN10, ISO110 to ISO315 inclusive spare flanges

• PPRC pipes DN15 to DN50 for house connections inclusive PPRC fittings

• Resilient seated Gate Valves DN80 to DN400, Service Valves ISO63, and Air Valves DN50

• 2 x Plunger Valves DN400 inclusive controller, actuator and pressure sensors

• 2 x Electromagnetic Flow Meters DN400 and 1 x EMFM DN300

• 20 x above ground Hydrants

• Pipe saddles ISO110 to ISO315 for HDPE and existing PVC pipes and DN80 to DN400 DI pipes

• Surface boxes for valves and air valves, chamber covers, warning tapes, marker plates, tapping machine, and 20 x 20ft containers (last way) for storage area of Purchaser.

Tendering for contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank is open to firms from any country. The proceeds of the Bank's loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.

To be qualified for the award of a contract, tenderers must satisfy the following requirements:

• No conflict of interest

• Not having been declared ineligible by the Bank

• Not a Government owned entity

• Not having been excluded as a result of the Borrower's country laws or official regulations, or by an act of compliance with UN Security Council resolution

• Non-performance of a contract did not occur within the last three (3) years prior to the deadline for application submission

• Minimum average annual turnover of 3,000,000 Euro, calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last five (5) years

• A cash-flow requirement: 1,000,000 EURO

• Experience as Supplier, in at least five (5) contracts within the last five (5) years, each with a value of at least 1,000,000 Euro, that have been successfully and substantially completed and that are similar to the proposed Goods.

Tender documents may be obtained from the office at the address below upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 200 Euros or equivalent in a convertible currency. Interested tenderers, submitting a copy of the receipt for the bank transfer of EURO 200 to the below-mentioned bank account, can receive the tender dossier from Employer.

Upon receiving appropriate evidence of payment of the non-refundable fee, the documents will be promptly dispatched by courier; however, no liability can be accepted for loss or late delivery.

All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of 17,500 EURO or its equivalent in a convertible currency.

Tenders must be delivered to the office at the address below on or before 17th September 2012, 12:00h local time. Tenders will be opened at 13:30 h local time in the presence of those tenderers' representatives who choose to attend.
